Brief History: Zive Insurance Ltd. has been serving the people and communities of Nova Scotia since 1961. The company was started by Paul Zive as a one-person operation in a small office located on Hollis Street in Halifax. In the past 50 years the firm has grown substantially, and now employs thirteen insurance professionals and services over 10, 000 personal and commercial policies annually. The location of the office has changed from time to time within the Halifax area to accommodate this growth, most recently to Park Lane Terrace on Spring Garden Road. In July 2010, the Brokerage was acquired by Senior Employees of Zive Insurance. Today our brokerage is recognized as one of the most progressive, innovative and efficient in the Atlantic Region. Most importantly, we are committed to a high standard of personalized customer service. We look forward to demonstrating these qualities to you.
