Introducing Zive, the Enterprise Knowledge Platform

According to a study by McKinsey, employees waste up to 2 hours a day searching and gathering information. The reason is that there is still no working approach to internal knowledge management. The traditional approach, in which employees are supposed to proactively store and structure their knowledgein systems such as wikis or intranets, has failed. They have neither the time nor the sustained motivation to do so. As a result, internal knowledge is often unstructured and distributed across different systems. It is stuck in the company's various software systems, such as email, MS Teams, wikis, intranets, ECM, CRM, ERP, etc. The existing knowledge cannot be used, employees waste a lot of time searching or do things twice.

What employees are missing to solve this problem is an "internal Google". An internal search engine that knows all the content in the company and makes it directly accessible, regardless of where and in what form it is available. In addition to employee satisfaction, this would increase individual productivity by up to 20%, especially among knowledge workers.

At the same time, the lack of good knowledge management results in collateral costs for companies. The training period for new employees is significantly longer and the need for coordination (especially the amount of meetings) automatically increases if new information is not accessible to everyone. Furthermore, companies cannot use internal data to optimize processes.

Introducing Zive

Zive is a knowledge platform with a novel, AI-supported approach to internal knowledge management. The platform brings together all of a company's knowledge from all business applications and automatically structures it in a knowledge graph to make it quickly and easily accessible. The entry point for employees is an intelligent search engine that not only delivers highly personalized search results, but also provides intelligent hints, tips and answers with the help of AI.

In addition to the intelligent search engine, Zive provides customers with further ways to access structured knowledge. These include a "Knowledge API", curated knowledge collections, and an AI assistant that employees can use to enter into dialog with internal knowledge.

Zive offers intelligent and automated content lifecycle management to ensure that knowledge stays updated. Specifically, the platform automatically identifies outdated content, for example when new, newer information is detected or when the stored validity is exceeded. Users also have the option of "flagging" outdated content. The creators or owners of the content are automatically informed so that the content can be updated or removed as required.

Zive is a turnkey solution that can comes with a broad range of ready-to-use data connectors and can be deployed in a matter of days. No manual implementation, no consulting, no training. It is made available via the web browser, as a desktop app and as mobile apps for iOS and Android. This means that employees can access company knowledge easily and conveniently at any time via all end devices.

Example use cases in day-to-day work:

  • Internal knowledge search
e.g. ("Have we ever run a marketing campaign on XYZ?")
  • Quick retrieval of documents & conversations
e.g. ("Kevin's presentation from last week")
  • Answering recurring questions
e.g. ("How do I book a business trip?")
  • Finding experts
e.g. ("Who knows about Google Ads?")

Who is it for?

Zive is ideal for companies that have reached a certain degree of complexity and size. Typically, companies using Zive would have 50 employees and more, however, the platform's capabilities stretch up to thousands of users with millions of data points.

Although knowledge workers are expected to benefit most, we also believe that frontline workers will enjoy accessing up-to-date information and knowledge conveniently with their mobile work devices.
