So far the input bar on your homepage forwarded you to the Zive Assistant by default, but this is not always what you need.

With the intent recognition, Zive now understands whether you

• are looking for an explicit answer or reply from the Zive Assistant or
• a list of relevant results from the Zive Search that you want to explore.

Note: The behavior only applies when submitting your input from the homepage.

We made knowledge management even more flexible and easier for you!

You now have the possibility to upload files directly to a knowledge collection, bringing you the following benefits:

• Upload relevant local files immediately.
• Easily define the access to uploaded content by creating the collection in the right space.
• Benefit from the defined context of a collection when working with the Zive Assistant and Zive Agents.
• Files that are uploaded and stored in knowledge collections can be found via Zive Search.

You can simply configure the research mode to web search and run prompts for:

• Market and competitor analysis
• Research about customers and leads
• Monitor current developments and trends

Spaces provide a whole new way of organizing your Zive platform!

Create knowledge collections and agents on different levels:

• Company space: Create collections and agents available to all users.
• Personal space: Create collections and agents only available to yourself.
• Team spaces: Team members can be defined to manage access to make collections and agents available to those users they are relevant for.

This enables all users to work actively with these features and at the same time ensures collections and agents being available to the users who need them.

With our whole new Zive Desktop App you can now use Zive outside of your browser.

It offers a full view, that has the UI you know and love from the platform, but the quick search is a great alternative to find what you are looking for even faster via Zive.

You can find the option "Download Desktop App" when clicking on your profile in the bottom left corner and the setup only takes you a minute.

With the new Prompt Attachments feature, you can add specific files to your prompts when chatting with the Zive Assistant.

Either choose to upload files from your local hard drive or from within Zive. Once you do, the Assistant's scope will be limited to what you chose as attachments.

Key use cases for this feature are:

• Upload local files easily for immediate AI-driven analysis
• Customize the scope of the Zive Assistant, e.g. to compare specific files or specify the context

Creating a central entry point to all relevant tools and websites!

The Links feature allows you to add external websites to your Zive workspace, making it easy to access resources like browser-based tools or company-specific forms directly from within the platform.

Links can be created and edited inside any collection. After creation links are also findable via the Zive Search and the most relevant ones are also displayed on the personal homepage for quick access.

The Assistant now supports a wider variety of formats, to make life even easier for you! With these new capabilities the Assistant can now handle:

• Code: Analyze existing code or generate new code
• Graphs: Create all different kind of graphs to visualize data
• Excel: Read and analyze content of Excel files to use it in conversations

The cherry on top: the Assistant also received an optical facelift as well as a general performance improvement, which we are sure you will notice!

We’re excited to introduce the FAQ feature, which allows you to document and share your company’s frequently asked questions directly within Zive.

Collection managers and moderators can create and manage FAQs within collections. Once created, they are treated similar to other content items and can be found as results in the Zive Search or as sources for the Zive Assistant.

We encourage you to use FAQs to:

• Capture institutional knowledge and make it accessible for others
• Ingest specific content into the Zive Search and Zive Assistant
• Save and share useful assistant responses
• Answer repetitive questions across teams

New Homepage

You might already noticed that your Homepage in Zive looks different. We now present you the most relevant content right after you logged in.

Besides your most recently opened files and latest searches, you also find AI-based suggestions and wherever you have been mentioned (files, chats, ...)

Quicksearch

On top of all of that, the search now dynamically provides you the most relevant suggestions, based on the available content and knowledge ... faster than you can type!

The Zive Assistant just got tremendously more powerful!

You can now solve even more complex tasks with the Assistant. Tasks that require multiple steps in conducting research and/or combining different information to solve it.

Here are a few examples:

• "Look up our marketing strategy and come up with a specific plan to achieve it, taking into account our available budget and team."
• "Create a draft of our product strategy based on the development this year and under consideration of the collected user feedback."

Every company has specific terms, abbreviations or nicknames used internally. The challenge with that: Often they are not generally valid and therefore not understood by AI, causing either wrong interpretation or effort describing what you mean.

These times are over with the Glossary, enabling Zive to understand your company-specific language!

Moderators can define the meaning of specific terms in the Glossary to have it considered by the Zive Assistant in any future conversations.

A click on "Moderation" in the Navbar now quickly guides you to a place where you can take care of managing verified and hidden content, as well as evaluating feedback from other users.

The icing on the cake: you are also able to find and maintain the brand new Glossary in there.

In the same step, we also moved all administrative functionalities in a separate "Administration" area. Here you find all the functionalities to configure and set up your workspace and, as a new functionality, you can now also see exclusion rules that have been defined.

Hi there,

We have added full multi-language support to Zive, enabling full global search, AI and knowledge management.

From now on, Zive will automatically detect the language of every piece of content and flag the results accordingly. You will see a small language indicator next to each results and you can filter the results by language.

But there is more! Hold your breath ... Zive is also able to answer any of your questions in the same language you asked the question in AND using information from any source language.

So here we go! We've just added an improvement that will display footnotes that related back directly to specific sources. This increases reasoning and explainability of the Zive Assistant dramatically and further allows you to explore the most relevant source content in depth.

We've just launched a new feature for detecting duplicate content right in the search result list.

This keeps your search result list clean and avoids multiple of the same documents or sites showing up on the list in a row.

In addition, this helps you identify the places of duplicate content quickly so you can take action to keep your workplace clean.

• GW people directory
• GW files (Google Drive)

Hi there,

We've just launched intelligent search term recognition that will automatically optimize your search and filters based on the search phrase you enter.

Whenever you type in something like "by ben", "August 2023" or "from last week", Zive will automatically pick this up from your search phrase and set the according filters. In case you don't want the filters you can simply "x" them away.
